The pillar of salt fantasy

I'm not sure if I ever mention this. But my work is never complete without the photo shoot. 

Many time it is gives the right meaning to the work. I love to do it with Idan. He understand me and my work perfectly and know how to get the best of it and I, love very much to change characters. To be someone else for a moment - to fantasise, to live on a different time, in different places.

For a very long time I wanted to take photos in the Dead Sea but I did not have the right work for this surrounding until recently. 

We went there last week. Such a short drive and the atmosphere is so completely different. The landscape reminiscent the story of creation in Genesis. My head and my imagination immediately begin to work and the story of Genesis and also the story of lot's wife who looked back and turned to salt was playing in my head like a music.

And this is what we created. With water, wool, plants, fire, camera and the beautiful surrounding of one of the wonders in the world - The Dead Sea.

Ashes and Dust

One day, when the station was a sleep, Idan and I sneaked in.

Beautiful Italy

This year I happened to be twice in Italy.

 I love Italy. It is so beautiful in every way.

The places, the food but mostly the people.

I just love them. They make me feel happy and relax.

My trip this time began In Pisa

 And from Pisa we drove south towards Grosseto
 in the heart of Tuscany

On the way we went to visit Willam. 

He grows many eucalyptus varieties for flower shops.

Then we arrived to "La Capitana" - An old farmhouse typical to Tuscany

The workshop took place there annd everything was just perfect

 We worked and laughed and energies were just great. 

Lots of pictures already post to Facebook so I just choose some close ups and I wish I knew how to attach Italian music to this post to complete the atmosphere.

Happy Days

To tell the story of the workshop in Cyprus I have to be a journalist, which I not, so I really don't know where to begin. Maybe even write a story can not transmit 
the experience.

It's about a beautiful beaches, sunrises and sunsets, clear water, quiet and peaceful, beautiful and happy  women, eco print, felt and beautiful creations.

My heart in west and I'm still in the east

...But not for long

  .The excitement grown up and very soon I'm going to Cyprus

.Meanwhile I have a million things to do and prepare for the the workshop and travel

.In the recent days I made four summer dresses that I intend to take with me

.The dresses are made from light silk with some spots of wool felt

.I do not have time to photograph them as I wanted but here are some close-ups

The time of the tub

Summer is already here and it getting more and more hot.

 My soul went out to wander the cosmos so these day I'm working more in the garden than in the studio.

It is time to dock at the port, take a tub and fill it with all the seas and oceans who I sailed this year, invite friends to sit around my tub with feet in it and just dream.

 Just in time I finished a felt piece that accompanied me all winter  and here are some photos (only details for now) before and after dyeing.
